Balanced Mind Weight Management Rx™ is a personalized, evidence-informed lifestyle coaching program designed to help individuals understand how daily habits, emotional patterns, sleep, hormones, and nutrition awareness influence overall well-being, including weight, mood, and energy.

This program blends lifestyle psychiatry principles with behavior change coaching to guide clients toward sustainable, realistic improvements.

Step 1: Lifestyle Assessment

(Completed through Balanced Mind Mental Health)

Clients begin with a psychiatric and lifestyle informed assessment to build a safe and personalized foundation. The assessment includes:

  • Nutrition awareness and eating patterns
  • Sleep and circadian rhythm review
  • Stress and coping patterns
  • Mood and emotional health screening
  • Weight and metabolic risk factors
  • Thyroid, vitamin, and hormonal labs as indicated
  • Readiness for change
  • Shared goal setting

Some components may be covered by insurance.

Step 2: Begin Individual Coaching

After the assessment, clients may begin one-on-one coaching focused on habit change in areas such as:

  • Emotional eating and appetite cycles
  • Sleep support and routine building

  • Energy and motivation

Coaching draws on the six pillars of Lifestyle Medicine: nutrition awareness, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, healthy relationships, and avoidance of harmful substances.
