Clients receive structured education, practical tools, and supportive accountability designed to build sustainable habits and long-term wellness.

Rx in this program refers to an evidence-informed lifestyle “prescription” consisting of education, skills, and accountability, not medication prescribing or medical diagnosis or treatment.

Step 1: Lifestyle & Mental Wellness Intake

Every client begins with a structured 60-minute intake to build a personalized foundation for change. This intake is self-pay and not billed to insurance. It includes:

  • Nutrition awareness and eating patterns
  • Sleep and daily rhythm review
  • Stress and coping patterns
  • Mood and emotional well-being check-in (non-diagnostic)
  • Weight history and health context review
  • Readiness for change
  • Collaborative goal setting

If medical evaluation or labs (e.g., thyroid, vitamin, or hormonal levels) may be appropriate, clients are encouraged to discuss with their clinician or request an appointment at Balanced Mind Mental Health (a separate clinical practice; testing billed separately based on coverage).

Step 2: Lifestyle Wellness Coaching

After the initial assessment, clients may begin one-on-one coaching focused on building sustainable habits in areas such as:

  • Emotional eating patterns and coping skills
  • Sleep routines and consistency
  • Movement and daily activity

This coaching approach is informed by the six pillars of evidence-based lifestyle practices: predominantly plant-based nutrition, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, healthy relationships, and avoidance of harmful substances.
